Tecnoflon® Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) have been designed for very demanding sealing applications in aggressive chemical and high heat environments.

They are resistant to attack by nearly all chemical reagents, including organic and inorganic acids, alkalines, ketones, esters, alcohols, fuels and hot water.

The primary uses for these high performance materials are as O-rings, seals, diaphragms, packings, and other molded parts used in the chemical processing, aerospace, and semiconductor industries.


Thanks to their unique curing chemistry, they can offer a very broad chemical resistance in a wide variety of media including acids, caustics, ketones, aldehydes, esters, ethers, methanol, solvents, sour gases, amines, hydrocarbons, steam, hot water and mixed process streams.

- X series Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) PFR compounds provide a significantly wider operational range and superior compression set resistance than any other perfluoroelastomer. With an upper temperature limit of 300ºC, X series compounds should be selected for the most demanding service conditions.

Helast® 75 BPL is a Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) specially designed to extend the low temperature capability of perfluoroelastomers down to -40°C. It offers outstanding sealing behaviour in the widest range of aggresive media along with excellent compression set values and best-in-class Low temperature Flexibility.

- A series Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) PFR compounds show universal chemical resistance similar to PTFE, but with elastomeric properties. They offer the widest range of aggressive media sealing capabilities along with excellent compression set values.

They are suitable for most applications in temperature ranging from –10 °C to 230 °C, offering outstanding resistance to aggressive media such as acids, caustics, ketones, aldehydes, esters, ethers, methanol, solvents, sour gases, amines, hydrocarbons, steam, hot water, ethylene and propylene oxide and mixed process streams.

Moreover A series Perfluoroelastomer compounds were specifically developed to cope with a wide range of potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (API's) and aggressive cleaning agents, being especially suited to withstand steam-in-place (SIP) and clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.
